IK MERK ECHT VERSCHIL IN KRACHT EN DUUR. De WattCycling trainingen bevallen me heel goed! Ik merk echt verschil in kracht en duur. IK VOELDE ME BIJZONDER FIT. Met 6 vrienden hebben we 12 dagen in ca. 38 graden een fietstocht gemaakt van gemiddeld 90 km per dag. Allen zijn getrainde mountainbikers. De enige training die ik als voorbereiding deed, was 2 keer in de week trainen op de Wattbike bij WattCycling. Het was bijzonder hoe fit ik was in vergelijking tot de anderen.

Own Zones; Power and Heart Rate.

It is really not difficult to get someone very tired and wet with sweat in a short time and then make them think they are doing a good job. However, if you want to cycle faster or improve your fitness, then targeted training in your own personal training zones, both on power and heart rate, is necessary. During the introductory training we determine the maximum power and heart rate with the Maximal Ramp Test so that everyone can train in the right zones.

Powerchecks; map your progress.

Regelmatig organiseren we Powerchecks om je progressie in kaart te brengen. De Powerchecks zijn tijdens de reguliere trainingen. Het is overigens niet verplicht mee te doen. Er is altijd een alternatief programma, maar om het maximale uit je WattCycling trainingen te halen adviseren en stimuleren we om de Powerchecks wel te doen. Dit geeft namelijk zowel jou als je WattCycling trainer inzicht in je progressie.

Variety of Training programs

d’Huez

The emphasis of the d’Huez training sessions is on a combination of longer intervals and a low pedaling frequency with a lot of resistance. Ideal for preparing for cycling trips in the Ardennes, Alps or Pyrenees.

HIIT

The High Intensity Training consists of robust intervals at high intensity. Suitable for athletes with concrete performance goals for events with high speeds, sprints. Whether these are official courses or place-name plate sprints, these trainings ensure top speed in the legs.

Tri/Endurance

The Tri / Endurance training courses are aimed at cyclists and triathletes who want to prepare for long bike rides and / or time trials. The emphasis is on longer duration blocks. Time trial position on the bike can be practiced well here.

AllRound

Allround sessions are a combination of exercises from d’Huez, HIT and Tri/Endurance. This training helps you become a better cyclist in general.
